We are all excited to hear that there is progress on a Covid vaccine and that this should improve the quality of life for all of us.

Meanwhile, we all need to keep to the advice of hand-washing, face masks and social distancing but we all look forward to the time when we will return to life as normal.
Our new phones are up and running and working beautifully. You will notice a few changes to our messages over the next few days.
You may hear your place in the telephone queue for instance. We are also expecting to be provided with statistics that will arm us with more information. This will help us manage busy periods and quieter moments with appropriate staffing levels.
Please be aware that our calls may be recorded for training purposes (more information will be available in our Privacy Notice).
We have been asked, by Public Health England, to share the Germ Defence Website with our patients.
The Germ Defence website gives scientifically proven, practical advice on how your you can reduce the spread of coronavirus in the home.

The COVID-19 version of Germ Defence was developed by clinicians and scientists at the Universities of Bristol, Southampton and Bath in collaboration with Public Health England.
We are very excited about our new phone system! It will be installed on the 25th of November.
While it is being installed you may experience a small amount of disruption, however, we hope this to be minimal. Our team will still be here picking up phone calls and answering patient queries. Our telephone appointments will still go ahead. We apologise in advance incase there are any unexpected delays.
