Due to the continued demand for appointments, we are trialing a new system for GP appointments.
We are offering more same day routine appointments either by telephone or Face to Face depending on patient’s choice and requirements, in addition to our pre-bookable appointments. This is in response to patient demand, patients not being able to wait till the next pre-bookable appointment, and staff sickness.
This may mean that patients will be asked to ring back on another day, when the GP you requested is expected to be in surgery.
We will monitor this system closely and make changes accordingly.
