What is Livewell B&NES?
Livewell B&NES is Bath and North East Somerset’s online community directory of services, providing a huge range of relevant, timely and local information, signposting, resources, activities and support for:
- Families with children
- Parent carers with children and young people (aged up to 25) with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (our SEND Local Offer)
- Adults needing care or support
All local services, groups, activities, resources, and support available in our local area are listed, including but not limited to services provided or commissioned by the Council and health services, to provide choice and help prevent people needing more complex intervention or support later-on. Many services are free or low cost.
Managed in-house at the Council by our team, the Livewell B&NES website lists approx. 700 services and activities, and receives an average of 20,000 visitors each month.
Livewell B&NES is a resource for Bath and North East Somerset residents, however it’s also recognised locally as an invaluable resource for practitioners, support workers, social prescribers, care co-ordinators, organisations and groups who work with, support, or provide services to individuals, families and carers.
