Our first PPG meeting was held just over 12 months ago and we have already seen the incredible impact our PPG has made. Their dedication is helping us build a better surgery for everyone. This year alone, they have (but not limited to):
- Reduced Missed Appointments: By implementing a direct cancellation link in text confirmation and reminders, they’ve helped us to free up more appointments for patients who need them, reduce DNAs and make it easier for patients to cancel appointments.
- Bridged the Digital Gap: From one-on-one IT support with the NHS App and new booking system, to ideas for refreshing our social media and website, they are helping our patients navigate our services with ease.
- Talking Tables: The launch of ‘Talking Tables’ has created a vital space for connection with our patients helping raise awareness of the PPG and the ongoing work that they are doing.
