Our patients can use our online services for booking an appointment with a doctor, re-ordering repeat medications and to view a summary of their medical record.
To register to use the online services pop into reception to see our Receptionist or email reception.elmhayes@nhs.net. You may be asked to provide 2 forms of identification (one of which being photographic).
Booking appointments
This service is available for patients wishing to book an appointment with a doctor. Nurse appointments are very specific and need to be booked by speaking to a receptionist.
Patients can book a maximum of 2 appointments. We encourage patients to cancel their appointment if they no longer need it so we can give it to someone else.
We monitor our bookings to ensure that we are not creating an unfair advantage to patients with internet access.
Re-ordering Repeat Medication
Our patients are able to order their repeat prescriptions via the online services. Prescriptions are electronically sent to your chosen Pharmacy. This process takes the surgery 48 working hours. Please factor in that your Pharmacy will also need to process the request their end too.
View your Medical Record Summary
As of the 1st April 2015 patients are now able to view certain parts of their medical record. All patients who have access to the online services will be able to see a ‘core’ view of their record (which shows medications, allergies, and demographic details). Patients who wish to view more detail can request to do so.
This year (2022) patient access is changing. Visit this NHS website for more information.
Please contact reception if you wish to register to use the online services.
Please note test results require clinical interpretation.
For further information about online services please visit the NHS Choices website.
Electronic Appointment Booking
Practices are required to promote and offer the facility for all patients who wish to book, view, amend, cancel and print appointments online. You can now also view results and your medical records.
If you wish to register you will need to:
- First download and login to the NHS app, and follow the full ID verification process
- Then download and login to the “Airmid UK” app, using the same login details that you use for the NHS app.
