Dave Emery – Practice Manager
The practice management team is involved in managing all aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice management team supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and sorting the incoming post.
Secretaries

Medical secretaries work very closely with the GPs, supporting the GPs in regard to referrals and contacts with secondary care. Medical secretary duties include:
- Handling enquiries from patients
- Managing GP referrals
- Updating patient records
- Processing the paperwork for death certificates and cremation forms
- Typing patient letters and clinical reports
- Managing a filing system
- Maintaining supplies and stocks of office equipment
- Child immunisation administration and booking child immunisation appointments
- Minute taking for meetings
- Assisting the Practice Manager with QoF
- Chronic health recalls
General Practice Assistants
Danielle
The General Practice Assistants (GPAs) work closely with supporting the GPs, Reception and the Secretaries. Their duties include:
- Scanning of medical correspondents into patient records and notifying the GP
- Dealing with insurance companies and solicitors
- Dealing with Subject Access Requests and medical reports
- Managing correspondents from the out of hours services and the 111 service
- Test urine, take blood pressures readings, perform ECGs and undertake phlebotomy
- Arranging post-natal appointments
Administration
Rose
Vicky
The Administrators deal with the registration of new patients, letters to patients and updating patients records. They also print reports and support the Practice Manager with audits and submissions to NHS England.

The dispensary is open daily from 08:30- 18:00
