As in the rest of the country, we have seen an increase in the number of patient with Mental Health problems in BANES.

Whether you are feeling alone, stressed, anxious or depressed. Or if you have lost someone dear to you, have gone through a traumatic event, or need to talk things through with someone, you are able to access a number of excellent services that can help when you need it most.

They can offer support if you are feeling isolated, lonely or anxious.  Having employment, housing or money issues. Or having problems keeping active or achieving a healthy weight.

Talking Therapies

They can offer advice if you are going through difficult life events. Difficult emotions. Relationship problems.  stress, depression or anxiety. And many other mental health problems.

The Samaritans

If you, or someone you know, is struggling to cope. You can now contact the Samaritans in many different ways, by letter, phone or email. Visit their website for more information.

Social Prescriber

We also have access to a Social Prescriber. They can offer practical help if you need support accessing other services, completing forms, if you want to join groups with others.
